Spring in Macro
If these flowers, bees, and water drops don’t get you excited for spring then nothing will! I love all the colors and life with these macro shots I got last summer. I thought I would post them now since it feels like spring is coming (I hope!) Each one has a different story and adventure behind it.
This was right out of my camera except the black and white! The secret is spraying water in the air while you shoot!
There is just something so magical to me about this photo. Dandelions are so beautiful in macro.
I took this while teaching students at our Comm 316 excursion how to shoot pictures through water drops! So fun!
I can’t tell you how scary it is to be around so many bees and trying to get close enough to shoot one in macro.
Another magical dandelion shot.
I was spraying water behind this rose as well as lighting it from behind for this shot.
This was such a BEAUTIFUL peaceful morning at my grandparents house as I shot the dozens upon dozens of hummingbirds that come to eat at their house. They are hard to capture!
I shot this little guy on a warm summer day at our friend’s house in California. I find it so relaxing to just sit and shoot in the warm sun on days like this.
This little bee was amazing! He couldn’t fly, so he just crawled around the flowers while I was teaching students how to shoot macro, he was the best model!
Another fun water drop one.
It’s crazy the way flowers can hold water
And one last fun colorful one!
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
